Compañía Boliviana de Energía Eléctrica (COBEE) es una subsidiaria completamente propiedad nuestra y es el segundo generador de electricidad en Bolivia. A Diciembre 31 de 2010, COBEE tenía una capacidad efectiva agregada de 229MW, la cual representa el 18,8% del total de capacidad efectiva del Sistema Interconectado Nacional (SIN. El año que terminó el 31 de Diciembre de 2010, COBEE generó 1,154.6GWh de electricidad, representando el 19.0% de los requerimientos energéticos del SIN.
COBEE es dueña y operadora de 10 plantas hidroeléctricas de río, en el valle del río Zongo, cuatro plantas hidroeléctricas de río en le valle del río Miguillas, y dos turbinas de generación de ciclo abierto a gas natural, ubicadas en el Alto-Kenko, adyacente a La Paz, Bolivia.

COBEE consiguió un acuerdo a largo plazo para un PAA con la Compañía Minera San Cristóbal, una subsidiaria de la japonesa Sumitomo, el cual representa aproximadamente un tercio de la energía producida por COBEE. El resto de la energía es vendida en el mercado.
